마마무의 멤버인 화사가 대학 축제 무대에서 선보인 퍼포먼스로 인해 고발을 받아 경찰 조사를 받았습니다.

경찰에 따르면 서울 성동경찰서는 지난달 말 화사를 피고발인으로 소환하여 퍼포먼스의 의도와 배경 등에 대해 조사하였습니다.

화사는 지난 5월 12일 tvN '댄스가수 유랑단' 촬영을 위해 성균관대학교 축제 현장을 방문하였습니다.

이 무대에서 화사는 혀로 손가락을 핥은 후 특정 신체 부위에 닿게 하는 퍼포먼스를 선보였으며, 이 장면이 관객들에 의해 촬영되어 SNS에 확산되었습니다. 이로 인해 "지나치게 선정적인 것 아니냐"라는 비판과 논란이 일었습니다.

이후 학생 및 학부모 보호단체인 인권보호연대(학인연)는 지난 6월에 "화사의 행위가 변태적인 성관계를 연상시켜 목격한 대중들에게 수치심과 혐오감을 일으킬 만큼 충분하다"며 화사를 경찰에 고발하였습니다.

당시 축제에서 화사가 선보인 퍼포먼스는 이후 '댄스가수 유랑단' 방송에서 편집되었습니다.

MAMAMOO member Hwasa, who was accused of performing on stage at a college festival, has been investigated by police.

According to police on Tuesday, the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul summoned Hwasa as an accused late last month and asked her about the intentions and background of the performance.

On May 12, Hwasa visited the festival site of Sungkyunkwan University while filming for tvN's "Dancer Yurangdan.

During the performance, Hwasa licked her fingers with her tongue and then touched them to certain parts of her body, which sparked controversy as videos of audience members filming the scene spread on social media, drawing criticism for being "overly sensationalized.

In June, the Alliance for the Protection of Student and Parental Rights (Hakinyeon) filed a police complaint against Hwasa, saying that her behavior was reminiscent of perverted sexual intercourse and was sufficient to cause shame and disgust to the public who witnessed it.

Hwasa's performance at the festival was later edited out of an episode of "Dancer's Wanderlust.
