그룹 블랙핑크(BLACKPINK)가 지난 7월 펼친 앙코르 공연이 최근 프랑스 한 일간지가 꼽은 '최악의 공연'으로 선정되어 여러 반응이 이어지고 있다.
해당 매체는 "안무가 너무 교과서적이다" "멤버 간 소통이 부족하다" "비디오 영상이 지저분하고 카메라가 안정적이지 않다" "인터미션이 지나치게 많아 리듬이 깨졌다" 등을 단점으로 꼽은 것으로 전해졌다.
BLACKPINK's encore performance in July was recently named the "worst concert ever" by a French newspaper, and the group has been receiving mixed reactions.
In what the publication describes as a "highly subjective ranking," the magazine evaluated the performances of famous singers from May to July, and BLACKPINK was named the "worst.
The concert was held at France's largest stadium, the Stade De France, and it was the first time a female K-pop artist had ever performed in a European stadium with a capacity of more than 80,000 people.
BLACKPINK proved their global popularity by heating up the largest stadium in France. The group proved their performance skills and the chemistry of their members through back-to-back world tour performances, and drew praise for making history.
However, about a month later, the tide turned. Local media criticized BLACKPINK's encore performance, calling it "a show that didn't live up to the hype."
"The choreography was too textbook," "there was a lack of communication between the members," "the video footage was messy and the camera wasn't stable," and "there were too many intermissions, breaking the rhythm," among other criticisms.
Most notably, at the end of the concert, Jenny left the stage for about three minutes to change clothes while the rest of the group interacted with fans, calling it a "ridiculous situation."
BLACKPINK is set to hold a Seoul encore concert at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on March 16 and 17. It will be the group's first reunion with Korean fans in about a year since their last concert in October, and they are determined to showcase their growth with a larger scale and different setlist.
